I was being abused while just a kitten. I lived in a pub and my human back then had another cat and it was abusing me so much they had to let me go. I was a very frightened kitten back then and lived behind the fridge after an initial escape attempt - but then I realised my new human was worried sick and she spent all night looking for me and so I followed her while she was looking - kept very, very quiet till I was SURE. Now I will not let her out of my sight if I can help it. I figured she must really want me.
